Is there a charge to upgrade from one level to the next?
No there are no extra charges to upgrade your hosting plan, we want our customers to succeed and moving up a plan means that is just what is happening. Also there are no set up fees for any of our standard plans.
How many unique IP addresses can a virtual server be provided with?
Clients can place as many sites as they would like on a virtual IP. If you would like to have a static IP for your domain there is a $10 monthly charge.
What types of Shopping Cart Solutions do you offer?
We do not supply shopping carts. We provide (upon request) MivaŽ, to provide the shopping cart for your Web site. Visit Miva to learn more. We can guide you to using their auto shopping cart feature which can easily be customized for your site.
Transfer rate is the cost per Gigabyte of information that your site serves out to the web browsers. To try and simplify this into a more broad understanding, think out it rather than being data transferred, to your use of electricity in your house.
We track bandwidth usage every month. If your site is over the monthly plan allocation, bandwidth overage will be applied to your monthly statement. The reason for offering this option is because some clients will pay the overage because they might be experiencing spiked traffic from a recent listing in a busy search engine or links site. We also offer you the option to upgrade to a higher plan to avoid paying the overage. It cost nothing to change plans.

Our entire network is backed up regulary. Should a system fail, we have all the latest files for it and we will be able to restore it. Customors are responsible for backing their own servers on dedicated plans.
If one of our servers fail, we would restore the websites into a spare server that is kept on location. We have spare equipment and servers available immediately.
What is the difference between "Virtual" and "Dedicated" hosting?
If you choose a virtual server plan, you will be sharing the Web server with several other users. We will manage the server operations. Each virtual plan is allowed a set number of domains. On dedicated plans, you have your own Web server. You have full access to the root directory of your server and you are free to host an unlimited number of domains.
Number of sites that can be hosted under one account?
This depends on the plan you choose. In Virtual Hosting, the number of domains allowed corresponds to the number of web sites you may host on the plan.
In Dedicated Hosting, we provide you with an unlimited number of domains. You can host as many web sites as possible on the dedicated server. This is great for resellers or larger customers. Upgrading your plan to accommodate more bandwidth as your business expands, is never a problem and is free of charge.
Uploading using Microsoft FrontPage and the extensions
Using the extensions or "Web Bots" with your web site is fully supported
by LoweAndBehold. If you are using the web bots, make sure you use
the publish command to upload to the server. If you try to FTP those
files that use the web bots, the files may become corrupted and
the effectiveness of those web bots will be hindered. If you are
using FrontPage to create a site without the bots, you can still
use the publish command.
